As Thought Front has discussed before, there can often be unintended consequences of strategic bombing. Facilities or infrastructure that may bolster the Islamic State may also provide vital services to ordinary civilians suffering under its hegemony. That includes bombing oil fields resulting in higher food and heating oil prices for civilians, and the loss of […]Read more "More Consequences of Bombing ISIS"
The Islamic State is celebrating the two year anniversary of its self-proclaimed caliphate. A few days ago, the group released a video entitled “Two Years Since the Caliphate.” As a follow-up, yesterday they released an English language infographic similarly titled “Two Years Since Announcing the Caliphate.” The infographic brags about all the countries in which […]Read more "Islamic State Says They Have No Presence in America"

That all changed this month, when […]Read more "Islamic Militants Are Also Using Nixon for Propaganda"
It was Pliny the Elder who said “ex Africa semper aliquid novi” (“out of Africa there is always something new”).
